Turku University of Applied Sciences: OMPT requirements by programme

Turku University of Applied Sciences is the rare institution that names no variant at all. Any OMPT result at 55% or better opens its rolling-admission route into eight English-taught bachelors, spanning Business Administration (including International Operations and Business Accounting), Biotechnology, Energy and Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, ICT, Mechanical Engineering, and Water Engineering and Circular Economy. An SAT with at least 400 on both sections works as the alternative.

Free choice of variant is a gift, so use it deliberately: sit OMPT-C. It is the shortest syllabus of the seven — four chapters of algebra and geometry, 30 questions — and at a 55% bar it is the least preparation for the same admission outcome. The only reason to sit anything heavier is if another university on your application list demands a specific letter, in which case one sitting of that variant can serve both.

Rolling admission cuts both ways: there is no single deadline to plan around, but places fill as applications arrive. Get the test done early in the cycle rather than treating the open timeline as permission to drift. A week of C-syllabus revision and a timed practice mock is usually all this route takes.
