Scoring
Scale
Percentage score, 0–100%
Our mocks score instantly in your browser. The official test does not: standard grading returns your certificate in about 8 business days, so plan your booking around that wait.
Typical cutoff
70–75% depending on the programme
Every university sets its own bar per programme, so this range is a guide, never a promise. Aim ten points above your target cutoff in practice; exam-day nerves cost about that much.
Study plan
Four weeks is enough for most students who can give it an hour a day. This is the OMPT-B order I use with my own students.
Week 1
Algebra and equations at full speed: you cannot afford slow arithmetic on 64 questions.
Week 2
Functions, exponentials, logarithms. Start one timed mini-set every other day.
Week 3
Trigonometry from radians up to equations, then differentiation.
Week 4
Integration, mixed timed mocks, and a ruthless review of every miss.
Prefer it mapped onto your actual exam date? The study planner turns this outline into a dated week-by-week schedule.

This is question one of the free OMPT-B mock — real difficulty, no warm-up softball.
Quadratic equations
Solve (x + 5)² = 100 and give the greater of the two solutions.
Solution
Take the square root of both sides, remembering both signs: x + 5 = 10 or x + 5 = −10. That gives x = 5 or x = -15. The greater solution is 5.
Scored instantly, per-topic feedback included.
Full mock exams
Each generation is a complete OMPT-B paper — 64 typed-answer questions under the real 150-minute clock, graded with worked solutions. They climb toward the real sitting: start low, finish on the exam-level set the week before you book.

Exam-level means the top of this line — written at the difficulty of the sitting itself. Lower generations sweep more of the syllabus at a gentler level, which is exactly what you want early in a plan.
From students
Feedback from students who prepared here and then sat the real OMPT-B, paraphrased from their e-mails and anonymized to first name and country.
Time pressure and integration were my two worries for OMPT-B, and the timed mock trained both. By exam day nothing on the paper felt new.
Doing a second full mock paid off because the questions were different, so I could not coast on remembered answers. The explanations go into real detail too.
Two full mock exams plus complete lessons on every OMPT-B topic, in a Foundation and an Exam-level bundle.
